Leagues of Legends Server issues forces Riot to apologize

Being unable to play Leagues of Legends two days ago some players contacted Riot’s PR. They responded back apologizing. They admitted that it is quite unfortunate on their part to have server downtime.

There had been no downtime for server or queue times for Riot’s League of Legends game in North America for more than a year. Riot League of Legends has stated that the latest patch of the game had some behind-the-scene modifications and while they got implemented online, the game had some unforeseen problems. Riot has stated that the company engineers are working on the problem and trying to resolve it.

The company stated that it could feel the frustration of the players very well and is very disappointed as it could not provide the service to the players as per their expectations. Apart from extended outages, long queue times on the North America platform, the company has also got the report that some of the contents of the play has been missing runes, rune pages, champions etc.

Riot League of Legends has stated that the engineers are working round the clock and have already made some important changes in the hardware configuration. The company is monitoring the service but it is still not completely over.
